I Went To New Mexico
I went to New Mexico for a few days for a friends wedding. Here are a few photos.
For all its faults, New Mexico is just so damn beautiful, and I think I might have taken that for granted. Tortillas are something I miss eating daily, and am so grateful for my sister teaching me how to make them, even if they are “easy”.
New Mexico and Japan life have pretty stark contrasts. I value many aspects from both sides and it has put me in this weird state were I am not sure what I value most, and what I am willing to sacrifice (I can’t have my cake and eat it too, I.e. have awesome public transportation in New Mexico, or fresh Tortillas in Japan). I don’t know how financially doable it is to frequently travel between the locations, and frankly, I am starting to hate that long flight.
